I had a pleasant stay at Grant Village Lodge, especially being in such a scenic location, but there were some drawbacks. The rooms were clean and suitable for our needs, although a bit cramped. I appreciated being able to access dining options nearby, but the breakfast pricing seemed excessive for what was offered. Overall, I found it to be a decent choice for exploring Yellowstone, but it’s important to keep expectations realistic regarding comfort and amenities.

The lodge offers a prime location near beautiful Yellowstone Lake, which really enhances the trip, making it easy to enjoy hiking and explore the park. While the rooms provide basic amenities like a coffee maker and fridge, they felt a bit small and could use better cleaning. The dining experience left much to be desired, as the options were limited and a bit overpriced. Overall, it’s a decent stay primarily for those interested in being directly within the park, but it has drawbacks that shouldn't be overlooked.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were on the smaller side, providing basic amenities like a coffee maker, fridge, and toiletries, but they could benefit from better cleanliness.
Service

The service was friendly, but the visible laundry in the halls made navigating the hotel a bit difficult.

Dining was quite limited, and the pricing felt steep for what was offered; breakfast options were disappointing.

I had a pleasant stay at Grant Village despite some concerns from reviews I read. The convenience of being in Yellowstone can't be beaten, but the price is quite high. The rooms, while clean, are small and a bit outdated. Dining options were limited and expensive, but the central location made it easy to access park attractions and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are compact with very basic furniture and clean, but they show some signs of wear and can feel cramped.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and quite helpful, though some issues like Wi-Fi access were mentioned.
Location
9.0
Being right in Yellowstone made it a great start for exploring, with easy access to the park.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited and a bit pricey, especially for the breakfast buffet, which felt like a rip-off.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities are basic, which made sense given the park setting, but they lacked modern amenities.

While Grant Village Lodge offers a unique chance to stay inside Yellowstone, the experience fell short in several areas. The location is incredibly picturesque, which is a big plus, and the staff were genuinely helpful, but the room quality and dining options left much to be desired. For the price we paid, I was hoping for a better overall experience, especially when it comes to the accommodations and amenities offered.

Rooms
5.0
The room was cramped and had a small queen bed with limited space for four people. It felt outdated and wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Overall, the amenities provided fell short of what I expected for the price.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and offered helpful tips about the park, although sometimes they mentioned that Wi-Fi service wasn't reliable.
Location
8.0
The location is a major highlight, positioned beautifully near Yellowstone Lake and convenient for exploring the park. However, you definitely pay a premium for it.
Dining
5.0
Dining was quite disappointing, with a buffet that felt overpriced at $12 each for basic options. I expected more variety for the cost.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were basic and lacked essential amenities, which felt quite insufficient given the price we were paying.

While the lodge's proximity to Yellowstone provides great access to the park's beauty, my stay at Grant Village was marred by several issues. The accommodations felt outdated and overpriced, and the dining options were frustratingly limited. Nonetheless, if being in the heart of nature is your priority, this place might still work for you.

Rooms
5.0
The room was clean but had two double beds, a coffee pot, and a mini fridge, which didn't feel worth the steep price we paid.
Service
7.0
While the staff was friendly and helpful, the presence of laundry bags in the hallways made navigation difficult.
Location
9.0
The location is beautiful, right by Yellowstone Lake, offering lovely walks nearby, yet you are mainly paying for the location rather than quality.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing; a breakfast buffet felt like a rip-off considering the limited food choices and high price.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities felt quite basic and lacked variety, which was not justified by the price.
